Blackhaven is a small training and breeding stud specialising in training and starting horses that become soft, quiet, responsive and willing.
I specialise in starting horses and training them to become quiet and dependable "green horses". How often have you had a horse come back from the breaker thats jumpy, nervous and just feels like a firecracker to ride? I take the time it takes to get the horse quiet, safe to ride and educated. My methods include a mix of natural horsemanship, some good old fashioned horsemanship and anything else I feel that horse needs. They will be taught to react less, to become calmer and less panicky and be a enjoyment to ride.
Your horse wont be rushed as I dont work to a set time limit, I go with what the horse is ready for.
